2015 Fall/Winter Editorial: Table Details

The details of every wedding begin with an invitation, for this editorial we brought on one of Utah’s most talented creatives, Nikkol with Peter Loves Jane. She is very methodical in her work connecting to the theme and specifications. Her very own description of her work for this project says it all just right and is why we adore her work so much!

This invitation suite nods to days past, when mass production wasn’t as prevalent and important things were made by hand. Hand made papers and hand lettered details are the perfect way to bring in layers of texture; with no two pieces looking the same. The faded berry tones are a pretty compliment to the deeper, rich wine colors of the florals, without trying to match perfectly, which again adds another element of texture.


Aubrey Niccoli, a local private chef, joined us with some of her artistry and she made us all hungry too! The 20’s were notorious for a more simple approach to food and enjoying simple farm to table elements but at their very best presentation. She wooed us with her simple delicacies and intricate presentation, you might want to pull from this menu for your own big day, it’s perfect for fall or winter weddings!

cinnamon thyme ice sticks with apple cream fizz

fig and goat cheese creme tartine with honey, micro greens, candied almond crumb and brown sugar salt

shaved yellow and red beet salad with radish, watercress, feta puree, and herb chermoula

apple sweet bread with butter and pistachio salt

apple citrus smoked pork with cauliflower potato puree with marbled pesto and spicy sweet pickled citrus


When Annie with Annie Bee Cakery dropped of this smooth double barreled chocolate cake the room filled with the fresh aroma of high quality chocolate! This simple but unique piece of art was the perfect finishing touch to our editorial and our new favorite 3 tier style. The double barrel is just so elegant, the chocolate is rich in color + aroma, and we happen to know the taste was beyond any wedding cake any of our team had ever had! The perfectly finished ganache encases devil food cake + nutella!
